Miso

The precision of traditional Japanese design
Miso draws inspiration from the purity of traditional Japanese joinery, embodying a design philosophy rooted in precision, serenity and an appreciation of the material.
Crafted from birch, the piece adopts an orthogonal, sculptural form, where the simplicity of the straight lines reveals a profound technical precision.
Its key distinguishing feature lies in the millimetre-precise balance between horizontal and vertical surfaces, and in the joints secured with dark wooden dowels, which ensure the structure is mechanically locked together perfectly.
This functional detail simultaneously creates a subtle graphic contrast, which enriches and enhances the craftsmanship.
With a refined aesthetic free from excess, Miso brings a sense of stability and serenity to the space, evoking the essential principles of contemporary Japanese design.
